Sheikha Zelice Habiba Peixoto ~ Bahia, Brazil
A native of Bahia, Zelice has lived many years in the remote Capão Valley. There she holds weekly Dances of Universal Peace circles on her land. Beginning at dusk by fireside, she dances into the night with whoever may arrive. Nature spirits, locals, traveling visitors.... all are welcome! Zelice brings a sweetness and wildness to her leadership. Her dedication and enthusiasm for sacred dance, the sufi path, and indigenous teachings & ceremony shine through her to all who come across her path. A guide in the Sufi Ruhaniat International, she brings love and a fierce wisdom to her teaching.
